• Develop construction Work Packs for SMP (Structural, Mechanical and Piping) disciplines. • Monitor construction execution for engineering quality, safety, efficiency, value and compliance to design documentation and site standards. • Coordinate with client and design team on constructability and design issues. Raise RFIs / TQs and recommend appropriate solutions as required. • Clarify and provide technical guidance on engineering standards and processes to project team. • Provide engineering expertise in developing, investigating and managing non-conformance reports, variations and claims. • Coordinate with client, management, field supervision and subcontractors to execute construction schedule. • Coach team members and facilitate the development of knowledge and skills among the project team. • Conduct Construction Risk Assessment Workshop (CRAW).• Communicate technical risks with field supervision and client, and manage to achieve acceptable technical outcomes. • Assist with SMP equipment procurement and conduct technical evaluation. • Assist with materials quantity take-off, control, tracking, reporting and forecasting. • Assist with identifying and procuring suitable Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and expedite Welder Qualifications for field welding. • Develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for SMP disciplines.• Conduct QA inspection, walkdown and assist with completing Inspection Test Records (ITRs) and closing out punch list items. • Develop test packs and QA packs for hydrostatic testing of the pipeline.• Conduct As-built redline markup on P&IDs, piping isometrics and GA drawings. Worked in a team of 3 to investigate the link between skeletal function of kangaroo cortical bone and its mechanical properties, in order to analyse the potential impact of bipedal motion on the bone properties compared to quadrupedal motion. The key aspects of the project involved preparing specimens, designing experiments and conducting a series of three-point bend tests, fracture tests and fatigue tests to find the mechanical properties of kangaroo femur and tibia bones. The experimental data was then processed through MATLAB and presented in Microsoft Excel. A journal paper is currently in progress for publication.
