Some people ask me, why do I love numbers and coding?I would of have laughed if someone told me this would be my passion 5 years ago. My dream was to become a professional car detailer. I remember throughout high school that I would spend hours on the weekend working on my car, and even started to get customers from around the area. However, I began to realize the area I was in was not going to be a long term fit for my businesses. For someone in high school, moving my business to the city was not suitable for me. I started to look for other career opportunities. That is when I found computer science. I had took a introduction to computer programming class in Python at Ozarks Technical Community College. My amazing teacher and my own general intuition pushed me into computer programming. There was one problem though. Calculus 1 & 2 was required in this degree which absolutely terrified me. Well, it turns out after enough sweat, tears, and dedication you can succeed in these classes. I took the same approach to other computer programming classes such as JavaScript, PHP, .NET, SQL, and ADS. Since then, I keep myself busy with challenging classes and problems, because I know through enough questions and dedication, I can overcome problems any shape or size.What shocks me the most is that when I went to learn computer science, I did not expect myself to fall into a passion with a subject I deeply despised. That being mathematics. I began to learn upper-level math and statistic subjects and fell in love with the subject material. Since then, I study both topics in my spare time and I love to apply both computer science and mathematics together in my work. I love to do web-design since it is relaxing work, and I can take a break from crunching numbers. It allows me to create responsive designs that look awesome and pushes my creativity when I least expect it. When it comes down to the serious mind-numbing work, I find myself working on creating algorithms that look for trends and forecasting these trends using statistical analysis. I specialize in self-learning, programming languages, problem solving, responsive web design, object-oriented programming, Model View Controller (MVC) methods of organizing code, and statistical analysis. Currently I have C#, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SQL, Python, VueJS, and Git/GitHub under my belt. I have started learning R, SPSS, MATLAB, and DynamoDB. I want to keep learning new programming languages, frameworks, analysis techniques, or design principles that I can integrate into my practices.
