I lead the Technology & Customer Operations functions for Thomas Cook.in UK & Europe

Responsible for Development, Application support, Service & Operations, Infrastructure and Governance and Planning. Leading Internal and partner teams across Europe , India and the Ukraine.

Leading a multi-national development and application support teams, composed of internal and 3rd party teams (500 plus) delivering strategic and tactical initiatives for Thomas Cook in the UK, Continental Europe and Nordic regions.

Job Purpose:To manage a team of IT / IS professionals to deliver the Enterprise Architecture (EA) for the group, encompassing infrastructure, technology, application and information (data), which optimises cost of ownership, robustness, flexibility and long term supportability.Responsible for setting the Vision of Kingfishers technology and application strategy (in 3 & 5 Year roadmaps), creating actionable plans (annual planning and budgeting) and well as guiding and contributing to the immediate agenda (current projects and programmes)Lead and drive change and standardisation through the establishment and enforcement of architectural policies, influencing stakeholders in their decision processes and managing resource.Provide effective support and expertise to all programmes / projects to ensure solution design is consistent with the EA optimising solution delivery and overall benefit to the group. Dimensions: • Strategic, tactical and to some extent analytical• Stakeholder relationships up to Kingfisher IT Services (KITS) and Operating Company board level• Key member of the senior management team for KITS.• Key interface to all Business Solutions Managers as a solution provider to meet the needs of their portfolio of IS requirements• Key interface with the Development & Group Operations Teams - programme and project managers to support the technical solutions of applications.• Ownership of Technology / Architecture Review Board
