Peter Wilde founded the WildeWay-consulting firm in October 2012. The WildeWay consulting firm is dedicated to transforming dysfunctional and ordinary business cultures with poor and ordinary results into powerhouse cultures achieving extraordinary business results; a culture of engaged, happy, intensely motivated and highly skilled employees, working together, making consistent improvement, achieving excellence, besting the competition and driving profits beyond expectation.Prior to launching WildeWay Consulting-Culture and Leadership Excellence, Wilde had a distinguished career in the people-rich, hospitality industry. Most recently Wilde served for 13 years as the Managing Director and COO of The Townsend Hotel, located in Detroit, Michigan and regarded by both Condé Nast and Travel and Leisure magazines as one of the best hotels in the world. Prior to joining The Townsend Hotel Wilde gained extensive business experience transforming failed hotels into highly successful hotels and good hotels into world-class hotels. Wilde also served as the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Human Resources and hotel-reorganization Project Manager for Hyatt Hotels. Wilde attributes much of his successful career to misfortune and bad luck, occurring early in his career as a General Manager, when he was promoted and charged with the task of turning one failed hotel into a success and then, with that success, promoted to turn a greater failing into a greater success. Wilde learned early on that, for him, both failure and using failed management practices were not optional. He discovered that the only, best option available to him and anyone else facing this challenge, was to lead, not manage radical culture change; changing cultures supporting losers and mediocrity to cultures promoting winners, excellence and greater profit.Wilde is now engaged, through WildeWay consulting, in assisting other business leaders change their business results by changing their culture.
