Led a small team of engineers with the goal of designing a high-flowing exhaust system that improved the performance of the racecar. Determined project requirements, completed baseline testing, utilized SolidWorks CFD to determine optimal pipe size, SolidWorks CAD to create an initial design, machining techniques to fabricate the design, and completed requirement verification and testing. Resulted in a 67% increase in flow performance over stock.

Conducted safety meetings, discussing potential hazards and incidents that could occur along with daily environmental risk factors. Ensured tools and equipment were serviced and organized, including off road vehicles, hand tools, power tools, and other quarry equipment. Reported potential losses, due to outdated and damaged equipment, calculating losses due to this equipment as well as a lack of automation.
