While working as an engineering intern at T&M Associates, I was on team called MEP which stands for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. While working on this team I helped design HVAC, electrical, and plumbing/fire safety systems. To work on these designs, I used AUTOCAD MEP. I went on many site visits to learn about various HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in boiler rooms and electrical rooms. On these site visits I also looked at existing equipment and to see which equipment needs to be demolition. I performed load calculations to see the heating and cooling loads for various projects to know the required heating or cooling load a room needs to be heated or cooled efficiently.
