Serving members of BCRF's corporate council since 2006. We contribute 100% of donation proceeds to the foundation - over $600,000.00 and counting.

Internationally recognized as the co-creators of the very first salon and product line exclusively marketed to meet the unique needs of people with curly hair, Ouidad – the “Queen of Curl”, and husband/partner Peter Wise launched the Ouidad Salon in New York City in 1984. Their product formulations have won numerous awards through the years and their accomplishments have been celebrated in the beauty and business press in magazines, newspapers, television appearances, book tour, and radio talk. They performed all executive functions of the company until 2007 when they partnered with a private equity firm to expand their channel offerings beyond the NYC salon, direct marketing and network of Ouidad trained certified salons, to a new Santa Monica salon and retail partnerships with Sephora, ULTA, and HSN, and a line of co-created products for Unilever that are distributed world-wide. In 2011 Ouidad was honored as the originators of the curly hair market segment in the beauty industry when they received the CEW – Cosmetic Executive Woman - Great Idea Award – Sponsored by IFF.

Increased community outreach efforts culminating in the development of a town-wide nature trail. Established and managed PR activities and implemented successful direct mail fund raising drives to support organization programs.
