Peter brings nearly 30 years of engineering and operational experience in industrial steam systems and an understanding of the unique challenges faced in the industrial energy power generation sector to the team. His experience spans positions in capital project management, outage planning and execution, maintenance management, operations management as plant engineer & plant manager exclusively in industrial energy and co-generation environments. Peter brings a unique perspective as he has been a customer and end user with significant strengths in process knowledge, field sector.Peter began his career, after graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, at Glatfelter Paper. After a short stint as a Project Engineer Peter moved into Power and Steam Operations. During his tenure he was responsible for safe, environmentally compliant, reliable, efficient operation of 1.2 MMpph steam and 80 MW electric generation.Pete operational experience has focused heavily on solid fuel combustion technologies including extensive experience in circulating fluidized bed boiler technology firing coal and biomass. His work also included complex steam distribution system coordination between multiple boilers, extraction-condensing turbines, and prv’s. Following his years at Glatfelter Peter played a key role in the design, commissioning, controls integration and subsequent operation of a 30MW biomass CFB cogeneration facility. As a Sr. Consulting Engineer with Emerson Peter conducts field investigation work, identifies process improvement opportunities, provides consulting and technical lead efforts to implement optimization projects, develops and implements system solutions, provides commissioning and tuning services along with operator training and coaching.
