Incases was a German EDA company specialising in 2D and 3D field solvers and physical layout tools for electronic systems. I was responsible for the company strategy, strategic marketing and marketing communications. I worked on the sale of the business for its shareholders and left the company when it was sold to Zuken Inc. at the beginning of 2000.

I joined Altium, an IBM subsidiary and later moved to IBM proper. I worked in various strategic marketing roles. I introduced IBM EDA to European market. I headed the UK and German subsidiaries of Altium, and was a member of the IBM EMEA Manufacturing Sector go-to-market strategy group.

I founded Hybrid Technology with my partner, Chris Jordan, and we designed and manufactured laser projection controllers for the entertainment industry, digital music synthesisers which we licensed to Acorn Computers for use with the BBC Microcomputers, and we undertook various subcontract electronics design activities.

I was lucky enough to have a job in the workshop of the Trust museum, working on everything from a grand prix car, a Canadian built Ford side-valve V8 fire engine, road making machines, bakery equipment, tramways, vulcanising equipment, etc etc. in the period village and motor museum.
