Hastings Sunrise Community Policing Centre (HSCPC) is a non profit organization working in collaboration with the Vancouver Police Department and other community partners to promote a safe, healthy and thriving community. HSCPC offers programs such as community clean up (litter and graffiti), community patrol (foot, bike and speed watch), community outreach (special events and newsletters), information and community services, patrol and business safety and special projects.

The Community Advisory Committee’s (CAC) focus is to ensure the success of the 3475 E. Hastings Site temporary housing. The operators, Community Builders and Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society (VAFCS), operate this facility in partnership with the City of Vancouver. The purpose of the CAC is to:1. Provide support to Community Builders and VAFCS in their commitment to providing excellent supported housing;2. Monitor the impact of the project in the community and provide suggestions to improve the program;3. Review Community Builders and VAFCS’s response to any complaints which may be received; and4. Act as a liaison between Community Builders and VAFCS, and the neighbourhood.
