Currently leading a team of design engineers develop boom lift aerial work platform.Have extensive engineering expertise on a diversified mobile equipment and engines with global manufacturing footprints. Previous experiences include 12 years in CNH, John Deere in United State in mobile and power product development.For a few years, I had the unique opportunity to work for a fast growing diversified US$760M annual sales company in China. . Its power equipment section, which makes diesel engines, agriculture tractors, and generator sets for both China and global market.With my experience in US industrial, I successfully help the transformation of the company from a local player to a global player. While at the same time, I gained understanding of the operation and cost structure of China manufacturers, as well as the local supplier chain, manufacturing capability, quality issues, and China local markets.In a word, I have the in-depth knowledge of both international best practices and the business environment in China. That is why I can comfortably present the Company, its products, its capability to some senior executive VP’s of US Fortune 500 companies, as well as can rolled up the sleeves to work with engineers from US, China, and India in a team environment.Although I am responsible for the engineering for the power equipment section only, I participate in executive decisions as high as board room level. So I have much insight knowledge of business practices of China private companies, and the mindsets of many Chinese company leaders.
