As the Finance Manager of Türk Telekom International AT AG (TTI Austria) I am the leader of the entity’s accounting team. This position is solely related to the standalone entity, which desires a slightly different point of view and focus compared to the previously held FP&A position. TTI Austria is the most significant entity of the Group, representing the highest share from its revenues and EBITDA.My main duties and responsibilities are the following:- Planning, coordination and review of the Austrian accounting team’s work;- Ensure, that the monthly closing activities are performed timely, accurately and in accordance with the local and group requirements;- Review and approval of all payments transactions before they are processed by the group CFO;- Short term cash flow planning;- Preparation of the entity’s forecast and budget. Analysis of the variances of the actual results compared to the plans;- Calculation of all payroll related accounting entries (like capitalized personal expenses, management fees, recharges to related parties, various accruals);- Preparation of the Financial Statements;- Liaising with external advisors and auditors. The SAP roll out project for the four major entities of the Group was successfully completed in 2013. The project covered the following modules of SAP: FI, SD, MM, CO. I was the leader of the FI module implementation of the project, which was a group level task and I was also responsible for the SAP introduction at TTI Austria.
Financial Planning And Analysis Manager

This cycle consists of the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow planning and in relation to it; the following tasks are of main importance:- Setting the budget and forecast submission deadlines to the subsidiaries and functional departments in accordance with the shareholder’s requests;- Preparation and maintenance of forecast and budget templates;- Review and consolidation of the received templates from the subsidiaries;- Preparation of summaries and presentations for management and board review;- Preparation of submission packages to the mother company;- Analysis of monthly actual results compared to the budget and forecast;- Supporting and advising the management in taking actions based on the above analysis.Beside the responsibilities in relation to the planning cycle I also have regular or ad-hoc duties, most importantly in the following areas:- Preparation of the short term cash flow outlook of the Group (3 months);- Analysis of business cases prepared for new sales or investment opportunities;- Preparation of monthly management reports and participating in the monthly management review meetings.
Consolidation And Financial Reporting Manager
As the leader of the reporting and consolidation group my main role was to ensure that the actual consolidated IFRS figures of the Group are prepared and reported timely and accurately towards all the stakeholders, including the parent company, the Group’s management, and external parties. The preparation of the Group’s annual consolidated financial statements was also my responsibility. My regular duties mainly consist of the following:- Planning, coordination and review of the reporting and consolidation team’s work- Preparation and submission of monthly consolidated reporting packages to the parent company- Setting deadlines for the subsidiaries of the Group- Review and consolidation of the reporting packages of the subsidiaries- Acting as a main contact to the group auditors during the audits- Participation in the preparation of group accounting policies and performing reviews in order to ensure that the subsidiaries' accounting are in line with them- Calculation of complex consolidation entries, like purchase price allocation adjustment and equity consolidationI joined the company at its acquisition by Türk Telekom, so initially I needed to develop a consolidation and reporting process which was capable to meet the reporting requirements of the parent company. Auditor
I joined Ernst and Young in 2003 as an assistant and left the firm as an experienced (second) year senior at the end of 2006. As an audit assistant I was mainly responsible for the standard audit tasks, which consisted of system audit of the clients' processes and substantive audit works as well. These tasks became more complex with more years spent at the company. The biggest milestone was the promotion to an audit senior, which meant leading the audit field works at the clients as a leader of 1-3 member audit teams and reporting the audit findings to the audit manager and sometimes to the audit partner as well. The duties as an audit senior also consisted of planning of the audit filed works, allocating resources to the engagements, allocating tasks to the team members and communicating the planned procedures and the timing to the clients. At the audit filed works important duty were the review and evaluation of the other team members’ work and the communication of the upcoming audit issues with the clients. Every audit senior was acting as a mentor of some assistants as well, which meant assisting and coaching the team members in their professional development and progress within the firm. During my career at Ernst and Young I was the lead senior at market leader companies in the IT (integrated IT services), energy (nuclear power plant), agricultural (animal feed producing) sector and building industry (cement and concrete production group).I audited stand alone and consolidated financial statements, according to the Hungarian Accounting Law and to IFRS as well. I gained professional experiences in SOX 404 audits as well, when I was participated as a team leader in a SOX project.
