Among my areas of focus are enhancing the company's global outsourcing capabilities, driving business value and continuing to perform as we enable the company to transform.I'm also a "recovering attorney" with deep experience with outsourcing, technology transactions and innovation work. I am also deeply interested in “what’s next” and have taken an active role in Travelers’ innovation agenda as a member of Travelers’ enterprise “innovation evangelists” team, a founding chair of the innovation and experimentation team within Travelers’ corporate legal department, and as a judge and competitor in Travelers’ annual enterprise-wide innovation jams.In my life before the law, I ran a team of IT developers and communications professionals at a major US university, and founded its first enterprise-wide web strategy department.Specialties: outsourcing, emerging technologies (including robotic process automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, drones, and “black box” algorithms), .information technology and outsourcing transactions, information and data security practices, national and international privacy issues, software and data licensing, cloud computing, SaaS, mobile computing, and other technology-focused legal issues.
