I operated in over ten countries globally. During the Arabic Spring and following years I managed the Near East region (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Syria) through channel sales. I recruited and lead the new head of the representative office in Cairo. I carried out all marketing activities in the respective countries: strengthened and increased PoS, using CRM, personal selling, sales promotion, advertising and fostered and drove the push-pull concept for the various markets.

Based in India, setting up the new piping department for Geberit India with sales/product manager/application engineers and technicians.

Switzerland

Sales responsibility for entire CIS region providing electrostatic powder coating technology for industrial plants.

Shanghai City, China

Set up a new business for industrial piping solutions including marine with a team of sales and application engineer.Managed daily operations including full P&L responsibility. Maintained stock and delivery control. Strengthened the competence in piping systems with focus on Mapress and HDPE system solutions. Directed all aspects of human resources.Analyzed the shipbuilding markets in Asia Pacific together with the country managers and coordinated a joint approach.

China

Established and lead a team of application engineers. Prepare and conduct technical sales training for internal staff and customers on new products (RF connectors, cable assemblies, WCDMA antennas), RF technology and connectivity solution for base transceiver stations (BTS). Liaise and cooperate with technical influencers and decision makers from key account customers (Motorola, Ericsson, Siemens, Huawei, Datang).

 Motorola global key account support (traveling on a regular base to identify new design-in opportunities; project coordination; preparation of quotations and technical documentation) Project-oriented customer visits in Europe, U.S.A and Israel covering telecommunication and defense markets
