Voted Tennessee Sportscaster of the Year in 2011 and 2012.A variety of experiences, including play-by-play in the NHL (17 seasons) and NBA (1 season); AAA baseball (full time from 1981 through 1995 in Albuquerque, Rochester, and Buffalo), plus part-time in Nashville; as well as college football, basketball and hockey on both radio and TV. Have done color commentary at the NFL level with the Buffalo Bills and in the NHL with the Los Angeles Kings. Covered the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia for Mutual Radio. Worked with Chick Hearn on Lakers' broadcasts and was radio analyst on 1980 NBA Finals for Mutual Radio. Served as host on National (ESPN Radio) and local/regional sports talk programs. Regular contributor to Sirius/XM Radio's NHL Network Radio. Have hosted and produced podcasts on minor league baseball and the NFL.Would like to continue with the NHL and add major league baseball.Specialties: Technical production knowledge (hardware and software, digital audio recording)
