I oversee the fuel delivery, service and management of World Fuels global physical operations network, through the management of 2500 World Fuel colleagues. I am an ex-army officer, having joined the military in 1987. My main role was as a Fuels Officer Logistician and Trainer serving in many countries and conflict zones. Some 21 years later after leaving the military I started my own project management company, mainly concentrating on a number of IT roll outs, after 4 years I decided to go back to Fuel Operations which lead to a role heading up Country Operations for NCS Fuel in Afghanistan. During my tenure at NCS the company was purchased by World Fuel Services and after deciding to leave I was invited to join World Fuel Services in London.
