This room was easily accessible to all children and family members staying at the house. My fifteen minute animation was projected onto the room's walls transforming it from an animal filled garden scene to a fun alien space environment and back again.-Consistently met all deadlines and exceeded client's expectations by creating quality, fun and energetic illustrations and designs.-Mentored elementary aged children to develop storytelling skills by working with The Reading Reptile Book Store, Operation Breakthrough and the Blue Springs School District.

Hallmark Cards, Kansas City, MO 1987 — 2015Senior Designer: Character Development Studio (Jan. 2014-June 2015)-Developed multimedia content and was team leader for the promotion of character content to drive new business directions for Hallmark product. This included script development, storyboard creation, music creation, animation and sound design as well as web site content. -Directed and oversaw the editing of a video promoting Kaleidoscope, a fun creative center for kids.

Directed a team of four muscians/sound designers in daily scheduling, sound creation, delivering high quality finished sound files to clients and receiving/giving feedback in the creation of Hallmark gifts, Christmas ornaments, plush toys, web marketing content, and corporate music/voice over for company videos. We managed an above normal capacity of requests while maintaining a high level of quality and client approval.

-Created animated content for all areas of Hallmark, including: writing and animating eCards,( including a Holiday eCard for the Kansas City Chiefs), animated Hallmark eCard concepts for clients such as Stinson Leonard Law Offices, State Farms Insurance and CareCredit and supplied motion graphics for new business ventures such as iphone hand held store scanners.-Supervised two animators in the creation of Hoops and Yoyo content for the Hallmark Channel as well as the fan web site.-Had top sales for two children book offerings, My Fair Grandmother (a voice activated story where kids get to direct the action) and Cupig, a Valentine gift book that came with a plush dancing pig doll.-Worked on mobile phone social greetings initiatives and new business initiatives on Facebook. -Top contributor of complex high priced paper mechanic/laser sound/light cards while always meeting deadlines and keeping product within budget restraints.-Consistently wrote top selling humor concepts for both Shoebox and Ambassador Card lines.-Key member and designer in the Idea Exchange, a "think-tank"​ concept group. Our roles ranged from brain storming of corporate branding initiatives, to creating new product lines such as "A Little Slice of Happy"​ card line, as well as directing in-house corporate programs such as the United Way Food Drive.-Mentored summer interns in creating motion graphics, such as eCards, and traditional printed product, keeping an eye on quality product that is focused towards our consumer's tastes and needs. Two of these interns went on to be full time employees.
