    Data Geoscientist with research centered around three main fields: (1) Water research and sustainability (2) Carbon Capture and Sequestration and (3) Commercial mineral exploration technologiesThe Groundwater research team has been instrumental in shaping Perth’s Water future including (i) instigating significant groundwater discoveries and new sources of water, (ii) leading to major reconceptualization of the Perth Basin through repositioning of major faults and mapping key hydrogeological features and (iii) assist world leading groundwater recharge programs (e.g., Beenyup groundwater recharge). I have developed a suite of tools to process, invert and visualize AEM tools as part of these programs.Initiated and sustained a variety programs of ‘researcher-driven’ and/or ‘demand-driven’ research for over 15 major projects over 10 years for organizations such as MIRIWA, DETCRC, MINEX and DWER.My research has contributed to the HPC Wire “Editor’s Choice Award as the Best Use of HPC in Physical Sciences” granted for the use of a custom written macro-parallelization algorithm to rapidly generate inversion results on the Pawsey Cray Cascade XC40 Supercomputer — imaging Perth’s aquifers to a degree of detail not previously possible.
