On his way to Damascus, Saul had an awe-inspiring vision, which converted Saul, the hater of Christ, into Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles. Strindberg's drama describes the progress of the author right up to his conversion, shows how stage by stage he relinquishes worldly things, scientific renown, and above all woman, and finally, when nothing more binds him to this world, takes the vows of a monk and enters a monastery where no dogmas or theology, but only broadminded humanity and resignation hold sway. This powerful journey is played out with the journey of the Lady and the Stranger and the characters they meet on the Road-

Director The Gut GirlsN 1 Theatre Company Jun 2015 - PresentThe Courtyard Theatre HoxtonTHE GUT GIRLSThis hard-hitting play by Sarah Daniels is set in Victorian South East London: the docks are alive and buzzing with traders, ships and livestock ready to be sent to the slaughter shedsEnter -The Gut Girls -They are a rowdy bunch – with language that would stagger a horse and muscles that could floor a man. They spend their 13 hour day’s knee deep in blood and entrails in the freezing, contaminated gutting shed, lifting carcasses twice their size. But they earn in a week what a girl in service earns in a year. In the pubs and music halls of Deptford they are notorious for loud laughter, outrageous hats and wearing no knickers. No man would touch them with a barge pole.

In use for over a century, its walls have seen it all: the Suffragettes, the Great War, the Roaring Twenties, Swinging Sixties and Naughty Noughties. This is a space where women (and the odd man!) have come to share their stories, their secrets, hopes, desires and fears. ‘Public Inconveniences’ lifts the lids on the private lives of men and women from the 20th and 21st centuries, taking inspiration from the idea that ‘the personal is political’.

DirectorN1 Theatre Company Apr 2013 - PresentCourtyard Theatre HoxtonLady Windermere's Fan- Directed by Petina Hapgood “London is full of women who trust their husbands. One can always recognize them. They look so thoroughly unhappy. I am not going to be one of them “(Lady Windermere)Oscar Wilde's witty dialogue, social satire and outrageous paradoxes for which he is still remembered are most evident in Lady Windermere’s Fan. Wilde's play shows us the destructiveness of gossip and superficial judgement. It examines the ambiguous sexual morality and gender politics at the heart of the British ruling class, while simultaneously challenging our perception of what constitutes a good womanSet In a world of Art Deco - Director (Petina Hapgood) gives the play a fresh, contemporary feel. A vibrant, versatile cast bring this stylish, poignant comedy alive.“We are all of us in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars”. (Lord Darlington)
