As a freelance speaker & consultant with 15+ years of experience, my passion is creating engaging learning experiences for learners of all ages so they can develop the skills they need to have agency in and collaboratively shape the future. My clients include Goethe Institutes in Europe, Asia and North America and teacher training academies, where I help train the next generation of future-oriented learners/educators. My main areas of expertise include Extended Reality, Game-based Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Design & Futures Thinking, virtual worlds, and the Metaverse.I am currently Head of Future of Learning at the Landesmedienzentrum Baden-Württemberg. My team and I are committed to breaking new ground. Our mission is to not only envision the future of learning but to help educators who realize a paradigm shift in education is long overdue develop the necessary mindset and skillset to be agents of the future of learning. I am also project manager for minnit' & BLOCKALOT, two exciting projects aiming to transform learning.Furthermore, I'm co-editor for "Weiterbildung" and "on. Lernen in der digitalen Welt," two publications exploring the latest trends and best practices in education.With a graduate degree in English & French, a B.A. in Japanese & American Studies, and due to my stays abroad in Japan, Canada, France, and the US, I have a unique perspective on the global nature of education and the importance of intercultural competence. Always seeking to expand my horizons as a lifelong learner, I hold several certificates in Design and Futures Thinking, Innovation Management, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and Game Studies. Committed to staying at the forefront of research and trends in education, I have recently earned an MA in Game Studies and an MSc in Game-based Media and Education.I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my work and care deeply about the future that we can only create together as an international community.
