I love a good challenge – and I equally love to help others rise to their challenges. Over my 25+ years in the IT industry, I have repeatedly been involved in and lead some of the more difficult, complex and often groundbreaking programs with my companies.I am now a leader in digital transformation with vast experience within private and public sector, both in Denmark and abroad. I have worked in most industries during my career, having spent the last couple of years mainly in the Energy industry with a strong focus on renewable energy and sustainability.In my capacity as a Digital Advisor, I get the chance to make a real difference for enterprise organizations, evolving or even changing the way they do business in the new globally digital reality. It is important for me to create positive change in their digital world, combining high integrity with the focus that ultimately it must result in added value. To ensure the creation of value, working dedicatedly towards solutions and results is a must. And I strongly believe that Adoption and Change Management are crucial disciplines to really harvest this value.Often working in the intersection between business and IT, I lead efforts from ideation and innovation over agile development projects to digital/IT strategies and cloud adoption programs. My informal leadership style is actively listening and including, and it is important to me that we create a healthy culture together where ideas can be fostered and come to life – “Let’s make it real”. This obviously requires strong stakeholder management skills across nationalities and cultures, but I also often find myself applying my communication, presentation and facilitation abilities to secure the support from everybody.

In the role as Digital Advisor I explored bussiness value partnerships with the biggest Microsoft customers in Denmark. In the capacity of Digital Advisor, I waspart of a group of very smart people, that worked across industries with customers all over Denmark - and a little abroad.I have spent a couple of years in the Energy industry, with a strong focus on renewables and sustainability. I have had the good fortune to work with the likes of Ørsted, Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, Energinet and Aker Carbon Capture. One of the results is the first Carbon Capture contract in Denmark won by Ørsted in partnership with Aker, Northern Ligths and Microsoft. And our work with Siemens Gamesa was subsequently consolidated to several packaged offerings from Microsoft.Besides this, I have been orchestrating efforts to identify potential bussiness value of partnerships with e.g. Flsmidth and KMD.I have also been part of some very exciting initiatives in Iceland, e.g. making Public Iceland more digital

I spent a few years with Maersk, who have massively embraced the new digital capabilities in a cloud-led world. Maersk is building on very successful strategic changes starting in 2015 with the enablement of a strong Azure production setup and migration and closure of existing regional datacenters. I was the lead architect on that initiative across 3 distinctive program tracks. Our work with Maersk was subsequently captured and consolidated into standardized offerings from Microsoft.My achievements at this time closely followed the transformation of Microsoft itself, being the lead architect of major projects with Danish market leaders: - First worldwide deployment of an MS-based private cloud at Danish Defense, back when that was an MCS offering- Building the first publicly available partner Cloud in DK with KMD.- Global rollout of Office 365 for Carlsberg
