To this date, I have translated hundreds of feature films, TV series, documentaries, and other types of audiovisual content as well as some books and many comic books and comic strips.➤ I have worked for many companies both in the Czech Republic (Filmprint, LS Productions, The Czech Television, Crew, Mafra a. s.) and abroad (Deluxe Digital, Eikon, Iyuno-SDI Group) that deal with postproduction of audiovisual content.➤ My forte have always been creative translations (wordplays, puns, rhymes) required for creating Czech versions (both subtitled and dubbed) of animated films and series like The Simpsons (TV series), The Simpsons Movie, The Lego Movie, The Grinch, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, How To Train Your Dragon, Rango, Megamind, Hotel Transylvania, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Bee Movie, Horton, Polar Express, Robots, Over the Hedge, The Ant Bully and many others. ➤ I have regularly been hired as a lyricist for Czech versions of many musical movies such as Wonka, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Bob Marley: One Love, Elvis, The Rocketman, Cats, The Wall, Once, 8 Mile and many others.➤ I have been translating feature films of all genres from art movies by directors like Jim Jarmusch (Ghost Dog, Coffee and Cigarettes, Paterson, Zombieland), Wes Anderson (Asteroid City, The French Dispatch, Isle of Dogs) or the Coen brothers (O Brother, Where Art Thou?, True Grit, Serious Man, No Country for Old Men…) to blockbusters like Gladiator, The Fast and the Furious, Clash of the Titans, Shazam, Meg 2: The Trench, Creed and many more.➤ Since 2007, I have been the exclusive translator of The Simpsons comic books into Czech (16 books to date).
