I am debugging C++ programs, logging messages and analysing systems for performance. I have developed programs transferring files between UNIX/RHEL servers and JBoss queues. I am writing programs correlating transfers from AIX servers to IBM MQ and monitoring these transfers. I am working on translating text files like purchase orders, invoices, remittances to XML format(Java), parsing Excel files and loading to Oracle(Perl,Java), writing simulators used to generate files so that users can test new systems(Java,Perl),writing programs distributing files among servers(Java, Bash, Perl, PL/SQL), writing pre-processing programs to correct files on servers(Python, Bash), writing Stored Procedures to purge data and generate statistics(PL/SQL, Perl, Python). I am also writing archiving programs, performance monitoring programs, watchdogs (Java,Perl,Python,Bash). Another part of my work includes interaction with business and third party suppliers and I am designing plans for software changes and new systems architecture. OS used are AIX, RHEL, Ubuntu and Windows.

I worked on conversion of sequential files or database entries to XML format using XSD, JAXB, xjc, and JDBC. I was writing queries to store the files in Oracle tables delete old entries and query table for existing entities. Given XML Schema Definition Files I generated and compiled Java classes, populated and validated XML files in form suitable for load to production tools. All work was done in Java multithreaded environment. Used environments/technologies: Java, Springs, Linux, Oracle 11, JPA, JDBC, JAXB.

I tested performance of Java programs using system tools, JUNIT and Eclipse Profiler (TPTP). My task was to determine if memory leaks were present and what part of processing took most time. I wrote Perl programs which parsed logs, automated tests, compared and evaluated test results. I automated testing to the point where upon receiving input data file the result was produced as a multi tab Excel spreadsheet with graphic and numerical results evaluations.

I worked on wire transfers, system maintenance and end of day processing. I wrote programs for FTP, NDM, SSH2 and SCP transfer of files among Unix and Windows servers and backup of files and directories including automatic compression/decompression of files. I designed and maintained PL/SQL programs and Oracle reports. I wrote Java programs for HTTP connections, text analysis and report creation. I designed and debugged C++ programs in RHEL/AIX development. I used gdb and Valgrind to determine performance issues and memory leaks. I also reworked curses screens for clients' use.

I worked on product called Workbench. Originally Workbench was written in C++ as a desktop application. Workbench was used to generate customized reports for Mellon clients. Based on the client credentials and entered parameters screens designed in Microsoft Visual C++ were populated with data retrieved from Oracle. Customer went through sequential process of selecting another parameters based on previous choices. In addition I provided on-site support for both desktop, server and Web applications. My work was mostly conducted in C++ and Visual C++ then in Java on Windows and UNIX/AIX servers.
