As CEO of the McGrath Foundation, I led a team of passionate individuals working on behalf of one of Australia’s leading breast cancer organisations. Founded in 2005, the McGrath Foundation raises money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across the country, as well as increasing breast awareness in young Australians. Reported to John C. Conde AO, Chairman, and the McGrath Foundation Board.As CEO, I was responsible for all aspects of this growing organisation to ensure it fulfilled its charter and mission. I implemented a transformational strategic plan increasing revenue, aligning operations with digital systems to gain efficiencies and promote the brand to strengthen its community engagement and public awareness. We raised the profile for the McGrath Foundation through effective campaigns and events that engaged the community and developed revenue including fundraising and nurturing relationships with donors and stakeholders. This included Government and Departments at a Federal and State level. Achievements:- Double-digit revenue increase - Doubled monthly donations through new revenue streams - Negotiated renewal of Commonwealth Government grant for $20.5M and $2.5M from NSW Government- Generated funding for 16 new nurse positions nationally- Re-branded the organisation reinforcing McGrath Breast Care Nurse focus- Implemented a digitally-led technology transformation - Led Board expansion including two new female directors

TuShare was created to share the things you no longer need or want with others, for free. A digital start-up that embraced the sharing economy, TuShare helped products find their next owners, avoiding waste and landfill. A unique door-to-door delivery service component of the site became so popular that in late 2015 TuShare ceased and Sendle was born. I managed various aspects of the site’s initial brand development including marketing, communications, and partnerships, and remain a shareholder and advisor to Sendle.

As CEO I was responsible for leading ASTRA, including stakeholder and reputation management, and member outreach (500+ members). I represented the industry on critical policy issues and led negotiations with Government, industry and the media.
