- Implementation of a centralised and quality management approach to business and administrative processes, finances and policies and procedures to ensure business and administrative support across the Division is delivered in an efficient and consistent approach achieving strict compliance with legislative requirements. - Business analysis to identify and strategically plan for business improvement and growth opportunities across the Children and Family Services Division. - Coordination leadership of the Children and Family Services Business Development and Support Team.- Develop policies and procedures to drive the business towards best practice- Manage the business needs of a mulit-site division ensuring consistent delivery of business and operational support requirements

Responsible for administrative decisions made under 'Freedom of Information' NSW legislation (subpoenas, formal GIPAA applications etc). I developed and implemented organisational-wide policies on 'access to information', copyright and privacy. I was also responsible for:- Interpreting legal advice to Executive Leadership Team and Senior Managers - Ensure all Open Access information is published on Council’s website- Oversee and coordinate the accurate and timely processing of applications for access to information- Provide advice and support to a range of stakeholders by:- Developing and implementing training programs to increase organisational understanding - Preparing correspondence, presentations and submitting reports to Senior and Executive Management- Consulting, advising and negotiating with staff and applicants- Small project management - Writing submissions and recommendations to regulatory bodies when requested

Working in the Governance & Legal branch, I was responsible for: - Preparing Council and Committee reports, agendas and minutes- Meeting tight, last-minute deadlines- Minute taking - Providing advice and training to staff on report writing- Developing and maintaining procedural and informational guidelines on the meeting processes- Proof-reading and editing reports to Council- Assisting Council staff, Councillors and the general public with the meeting process- Maintaining Council records and ensuring meeting documentation is accessible to the public

- Responding to a high-volume of customer enquiries in-person, through the phone or via email- Building and maintaining customer rapport and ensuring needs are met- Answering telephone calls, answering enquiries and directing calls where necessary- Managing difficult customers and employing conflict resolution or de-escalation techniques- Producing and distributing correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms- Conveying information clearly and succinctly to a CALD demographic with various needs- Adapt quickly and demonstrate flexibility in a face-paced, changing environment. - Negotiating and selling gym membership contracts - Maintain filing and electronic document management system
