EXPERIENCE • Implementation, control and management of the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Integrated Management System.• Implementation and Auditing of SHE legal compliance systems including permit and license compliance tracking.• Communicate SHE legal update and provide training sessions where applicable.• Develop and maintain standards, procedures and work instructions to eliminate, minimise and manage associated risks.• Management of the fire protection and prevention systems• Experience in Management of the Security and audit implemented measures.• Experience in manage and investigate security related incidents. Assist Forensics Department where needed.• Co-ordinate and Manage recommendations from external audits / surveys – Major Hazardous Installation, Occupational Hygiene Surveys, Dust Explosion, Zoning of equipment in dust explosive and or flammable zones, external legal audits.• Management and / or present SHE internal and legal training including onboarding and training needs analysis• Contractor and Service Provider Management – legal safety files• Management of the on-site occupational health clinic.• Injury of Duty Management – Treatment Protocol, investigation, internal and external reporting, measure effectiveness of the implemented corrective and preventative measures.• Implementation of the Behavioural Safety Programme• Contractor Contract Management – Clinic, Cleaning, Canteen, Site Maintenance, Pest Control, Fire Protection and Prevention, Security, Effluent Plant / Biological Treatment System Plant.• Manage zero based budget, cost of risk and CAPEX.• SHE CAPEX Project Management including construction work.• SHE Management Review with short and long term Strategy to improve the system.• Frequent review and updating of the site risk assessments with frontline involvement – Overall site, departments, High Risk Processes, Job Hazard Analysis, road risk assessments.• Waste Management including destination audits with focus on year-on-year recycling improvements.• Fleet Management including accident investigations with SAPS.• Ensure Emergency Response Planning / Business Continuity Plans are in place, reviewed and tested.• Manage departmental one-on-ones and individual development plan.• Establish relationships with external stakeholders: Department of Labour, SAPS, NMBM Traffic Department, NMBM Air Quality, NMBM Water and Sanitation, NMBM Health, NMBM Emergency and Disaster Management, NMBM Fire Department, Perseverance Business Associate and Owners, Approved Inspection Authorities
