Petra Aba Asamoah is a business executive, marketing maven, consultant, writer, and leader. For close to two decades, she has led teams in the airline industry, media, and textile manufacturing. She is the General Manager of Oduma Solutions Ltd., a Cybersecurity company.Petra is a doer, and the impact of her leadership is felt almost immediately on projects she works on. With an optimistic, energetic, yet calm demeanor, she provides focus and direction to teams and has a proven track record of success.Petra is a trailblazer and has championed the learning and practice of sales in Ghana since 2015. Her book, “Sales 101: What Everyone Should Know About Sales” has become a manual for teams and sales professionals to continue to testify to its helpfulness and impact in their journey toward sales excellence.“Jungle Dance”, her second book, since its release in 2020 has provided an entertaining yet didactic fictional look into the corporate world and its vicissitudes.She supports the development of younger professionals as a mentor and coach and has been a speaker on several human capital development platforms. She has served on some not-for-profit boards as her contribution towards education and youth development in Ghana.An excellent communicator, Petra is a regular panelist, and resource person on several television shows in Ghana and was once a co-host on a current affairs and lifestyle television show as well as the resident marketing expert for a business advisory television show that aired in Ghana.A chartered marketer by profession, she holds a Chartered Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, an MPhil in Marketing from the University of Ghana Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, graduating with first-class honors also from the University of Ghana.
