The was the first private plastic surgery clinic in the UK to incorporate MLD into its pre and post-surgical care package. With my experience of working with a diverse range of patients, and having worked alongside a number of specialists - namely plastic & reconstructive surgeons, clinical nurse specialists, oncologists, venous surgeons and wound care specialists, I have learned that doing just MLD is not sufficient in providing a safe service for postoperative patients.Seeing a demand more knowledge, I developed the Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery Recovery Treatment training program. This is an advanced online course for therapists working with postoperative patients.This training program increases knowledge so therapists can provide bespoke, safe treatments for postop patients, based on their individual presentations.
