At Cognitechna, my focus is machine learning and neural networks. I have worked on a system for detecting and reading car license plates. I have developed systems for detecting and reading train and container markings, a system for detecting traffic lights, and a system for estimating traffic volume.

In my spare time, my colleagues and I founded the startup Discyo - a minimalistic app for cross-media recommendations. We have won several entrepreneurial competitions. The app is currently in beta testing. Thanks to my work in a startup, I tried a lot of new things - pitching, copywriting, marketing, UI design... But at the same time I've improved in areas I've done before - neural networks, working with databases, creating websites and APIs...

I was involved in the PERO project, a cooperation between BUT and the Moravian library in Brno financed by the Ministry of Culture, aiming to make historical documents more accessible using digital technologies. Created a video for Bosky Shoes’ main advertising campaign on Facebook. This involved co-creating the script, processing the video material and designing the video’s visual features. Also, I managed the company’s web domain transfer process from one hosting provider to another which involved communication with the hosting provider and basic JavaScript coding.
