I'm an IT professional working as a DevOps Engineer at hims & hers. Hims & hers is a very exciting Silicon Valley-based personal wellness company. I'm working with the team on various projects to increase the developer's productivity and get more insights into the infrastructure and application performance. I work on a daily basis with tools like Jenkins, circleci, terraform, python, docker, Aptible, ELK stack, Datadog to name a few. Previously I worked in xMatters. In xMatters we executed a project to migrate our infrastructure and services from 6 data centers (~4000 VM's) to Google Cloud Platform. At the same time, we were moving most of our services to containers which we managed using Kubernetes, so that's how I mostly spent my workdays. Before that, I worked in Cloudreach, when 80% of the time I spent working supporting customer's AWS environments. I possess 5 AWS certifications and 2 Azure certs. I started my career as an Electrical engineer after completing a PhD in Power Electrical Engineering.
