I began my role as an engineering manager leading a frontend product team consisting of 13 reports. Our primary focus was on developing and maintaining core GoodData UI applications, namely Analytical Designer and Dashboards, along with the associated tooling and infrastructure. Throughout our journey, the team underwent various transformations, with the most significant being the shift from Scrum to our custom principles called Restart, inspired by Basecamp's ShapeUp concept. Over nearly three years, we dedicated ourselves to refining these principles and continue to adapt them to meet evolving needs.In 2023, I now oversee a single product frontend team comprised of seven highly experienced and skilled engineers. Additionally, I have recently taken charge of a remote professional services frontend team, which consists of five onboard engineers. As a manager, my responsibilities extend beyond my teams' performance, success, growth, and motivation. I am also involved in several technical agendas, including UI localization, observability, and end-to-end testing, collaborating closely with my teams.

As a Sr. engineer I was responsible for designing and implementing new features and enhancements to Gooddata Spectrum UI applications and improving the tooling and developer experience with the support of the rest of my team. Working in Scrum with technologies like TypeScript, React, Redux, Saga, Jest, and more. I was also an owner of the localization process for our UI responsible for the localization architecture, communication with the translation company, maintaining our localization data and tooling.
