To prepare annual operating expenditure and revenue budgets;To check the correctness of claims and verify payments;To ensure that expenditures fall within the budget limits;To ensure that revenue collected is properly receipted and banked;To participate in periodic stock-taking exercise;To participate in preparation of financial statements;To prepare bank reconciliations for various accounts;To respond to audit queries relating to finance matters of the region;To develop individual objectives/targets and performance standards as part of the individual performance agreement in consultation with the immediate superior;To perform any other duties assigned by Finance Manager

Promotion of the regional micro-finance services;Conducting credit training sessions and programs for clients on the management; of credit and the credit methodology;Receiving and assessing credit applications;Approval of loan applications;Disbursement of loans;Maintaining records and tracking loans;Loan follow-up;Monitoring and reporting on portfolio performance;Impact monitoring and assessment.

Prepare credit notes, debit notes for adjustment of over/under invoicing of customers;Timely reconciliation of invoicing disputes with customersConduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits;Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection;Ensure timely collection of outstanding from customers;Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards;Ensure timely and accurate invoicing;Manage cash applications, making sure all cash receipts are applied properly;Weekly reporting of invoicing totals, aging totals and cash receipts;Conduct investigations, where necessary on any improper activation of credit subscriber numbers.
