U&O

• Operate, monitor and control assigned work area through DCS station safely and efficiently, to achieve target plant yield while maintaining the company and HSE requirements and insure effective hand-over on shift changes.• Ensure routine change over and verification of other schedule jobs are completed efficiently and maintain the appropriate records and documents.• Control / contain plant upsets and prevent minor emergencies, maintaining clear communication and co-ordination with other section of plant, company sites and neighboring plants.• Ensure clear communication between field operator, supervisor and other units.• Provide reliable and accurate information on plant condition and status to the shift supervisor and shift controller for planning product movement, maintenance activities and daily management reports.• Communicate and co-ordinate with other upstream and downstream partners, other departments and shift personnel for safe operation.• Handle emergencies like leak, spillage, fire, plant shutdowns etc and ensure emergency procedures are followed.• Preparing and maintaining daily plant log books about occurrence of all events and abnormalities, and Lab analysis.• Operation satisfaction signatory for all type of safe work permits as per SABIC.• Well Conversant with P&ID's, Interlocks and Trip system Diagrams.• Handling of Natural Gas and Ethane gas at 25 bars.• Monitoring and Maintaining Emergency and safety Equipments like – Emergency power generators, Fire and Gas panels and its associated detectors, Fire water pumps, Deluge systems, Eye-Wash, Safety Showers, Breathing Air systems etc.• Commissioning of new projects like Utilities, Off-Sites plant in JUPC.• Conversant with Multistage Centrifugal / reciprocating pumps and compressors.• Familiar with Yakogawa Centum CS 3000 R3.
