Always using microsoft visio as a starting point for the well layouts.• Latest project was focused on reusing old and very fatigue CT pipe by using a setting tool (setting Packer) below the Christmas tree after activating the cutting rams to cut and hang the pipe to re inject gas from the producing wells to keep up with the field enhanced recovery plan for mature wells.• Discussing job programs with the client as well for keeping track of the tickets, not recognize revenue, tickets on hold, approve tickets with certain corrections, etc.• Biggest percentage of jobs goes to completion fluid changes, Roto jet and jetting tool deployment for calcium and other hard deposition derbis as well for thick and heavy asfaltene products by making several runs with the jetting tool in the BHA until the snubbing force reduce to a safe working level but even more important having returns in the surface.
Field Services Engineer
• Well servicing by designing of Well testing and using saphir simulation software to input out relationship using both nearby producing wells and the well itself with the DST info and other pressure test (drawdown).• Adapting and implementing new technologies in recently drilled wells for future Enhanced Heavy oil recovery in the Orinoco oil belt by designing and cementing with slurries capable of resisting 1400°F for injection of High Temp Gas:1. This project used Custom made Fireset slurries design due to challenges with the wells being horizontals2. Special emphasis on Compressive straight values due to extreme compressive forces resulting from the gas moving at high velocity through perforations3. Using Latest Baker Hughes Laboratory technologies especially the newest curing vessels and cracking chambers
Production Engineering
• Supervising field operations such as: Well testing for gas condensate fluids and running very thorough checklist for de sanders and any type of sand filter and separators installed in each well (take in consideration this was a mature oil field), well perforating procedures (TCP), well tree caps changes, electric wire line, production logging test (plt), dynamics and statics gradients and sample recovery for pvt studies.• Analysis of reservoir data for well test job programs using PanSystem.• Deign of TCP configuration for optimum reach of target in the selected wellbore intervals for the BOQ-24 well • Drilling engineering assistant in the Rig: JRGS at all stages of the drilling process carried out by Baker Hughes.Main Achievements:• Revision and verification of the consistency of all pvt analysis from Boquerón Oil field. That later would be use for design and re-scaling the Hysys process each well set of separators.• Predicting highly complex gas behavior in deep wells (20000 ft.)• Mathematic Optimization of the Orkizweiski vertical multiphasic flow for the determination of dynamics pressure gradients.• Appropriate selection of the vertical multiphasic flow correlation that best adapted to the specifics characteristics of each active productive well from Boquerón Oil Field (Limit date of this investigation: November of 2009).
