About Darya Petrova

My education and professional background focus on wildlife ecology and conservation work. I am fascinated by the intricacy of the world around us, and wish to further my career in working with species of specials status and ecosystems experiencing climate induced shifts. I am particularly interested in long-term species monitoring projects, and working with diverse stakeholders to achieve community inclusion and longevity of natural resource project outcomes. Complimentary to my education, the professional positions I've held have allowed me a wide range of experiences with public communication, fisheries & wildlife (game & non-game), laboratory & field practices, as well as project implementation and report writing.Working with diverse groups, cultures & interests has been at the core of my profesional & life experiences.
