I have more than 20 years of experience in programming and producing the best user experience.One of my major career roles was the Senior developer at X-Cart Payments (a SellerLabs company).It is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified SaaS solution to securely accept card payments in web stores.Some time ago X-Payments was a simple downloadable web application, that was extremely hard even just to install.When I've joined the team my main goal was to find and eliminate all the workflow obstacles (both from architecture and user experience points of view). As a result, we've converted an outdated software to modern and easy to use service called X-Payments Cloud.Moreover, now its much easier for 3rd party developers to integrate our service with any platform we do not support them - thanks to the new API and JS/PHP SDK.My other part of work was to integrate with different payment gateways (Authorize.net, WorldPay and many others), fraud prevention services (Signifyd, Kount), 3-D Secure v2 providers (Cardinal) and digital payment solutions like Apple Pay and Google Pay (that required implementation of elliptic curve cryptography).Also I've implemented on-the-fly generation of API documentation using OpenAPI annotations.Interesting facts about me:- I wrote my first program when I was 12- I have experience in Unity (C#) game development, which I used to create a simple FPS game for my children.- Back in 2005 (and 2006 as well) I won Motorola phone community awards for creating a PC software that allowed to backup and restore firmware, manage filesystem and even edit some files in proprietary format.- I learned how to play the guitar by myself when I was in school. That was a starting point to create a rock band called NO SMOKING, which exists even today. We've recorded 2 albums in my home-based recording studio and plan to release a new one soon.- I have a travel blog on YouTube where I show places I visited on my vacations and holidays.
