Started actively developing my skills out of simple passion, and soon was trying my hand with photo editing software too. By 2016 I had gotten into quite a comfortable level with photography and by the year's end, I was doing this both pro bono and as paid freelancer. I photographed actively during my studies as a paid freelancer up until 2019.As photographer, gaining participants' trust is everything. Getting the greatest shots is not so much a function of purely technical skills, but rather the function of my relationship with the participants. Upon realizing this, I thereafter always invested time, effort and lots of enthusiasm to make participants at ease around me. Building rapport with people as individuals and groups was essential to get my subjects cooperate by being fully themselves. I was the editor-in-chief of the magazine and the designer of the magazine's layout. I was also the chairman of my most wonderful Committee of Publications, which numbered five extremely diligent individuals.Due to my proactive stance towards inefficiency, I applied to the position. Having been in the committee for two years, I was driven to reform the role and how things were done. Despite bright and enthusiastic people, the skills did not seem to get channeled well into production. Analyzing the situation, there had clearly been an incremental growth of responsibilities, lack of documentation and deficiency in good human resources practices. I deconstructed and rebuilt the Publication Executive's annual calendar to maximize quality potential in the core activities. One of the major changes I oversaw was digitalizing the beloved, but ultimately ineffective and highly laborious guild magazine, replacing it with a digital domain for publishing articles in a way that better meshed with audience reading habits. I also helped to establish a new committee solely responsible for the magazine.This action was a stepping stone towards shifting the raison d'etre of the Publishing Executive towards a more strategic actor. By reconfiguring the responsibilities, the Publishing Executive will be better positioned in future to focus on development and core activities.
