Responsibility: Negotiating and managing large and complex application maintenance and development (ADAM) outsourcing contracts.Through Telenor's last three "generations" of IT outsourcing I have had central roles which have given me a high level of understanding and experience in implementing IT strategy, outsourcing, negotiations, managing complex IT contracts, cooperation between different parties to deliver a full range of IT services, IT changes and impact on the organisation, etc. An important role has been to help the users (business and IT) understand and make best use of the contract. This has been through education, helping specific projects or line organisation solve disputes, establishing agreements with vendors, etc.With the role I have had the chance to communicate with people on all levels within my own organisation. All the way from top management group in Telenor Norway, through legal and IT professionals, to actual users of the systems being developed or maintained. I have also several years of valuable experience of working closely with people from other countries and cultures, predominately from India, but also other countries.

As my military service I worked as a programmer, re-writing a military storage handling system to a new programming language (from SQR to PL/SQL). It was a normal 8-16 kind of work.

Educational assistant for the student courses - Information technology, basic course for all 1st grade students at NTNU- Systemering 1, course for 2nd grade computer science students at NTNU- Communcation networks, course for 2nd grade computer science students at NTNUTasks: - Tutor for student assignments, making presentation material and teaching cooperation software in groups (16-20 at a time), operating technical environment. From this work I "discovered" that I have some natural educational skills, which I have tried to use as much as I can in later roles.
