🙋🏽‍♀️Hello and welcome to my LinkedIn profile!I am a postgraduate student currently pursuing my Master's degree in Zoology, with a focus on the physiology of sea turtle hatchlings, at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). My academic journey began with a Bachelor's Degree (First Class Honours) in Marine Biology from the same university in 2021.Throughout my academic and career, I've had the privilege of gaining diverse experiences in the realm of sea turtle conservation and sanctuary management. As a research assistant at the Sea Turtle Research Unit (SEATRU), UMT, I contributed to research initiatives, including my work at The Taaras Beach and SPA Resort on Redang Island. Here, I had the unique opportunity to pioneer acoustic monitoring techniques to study sea turtle hatchlings' nest escaping activity. Over the two years, I honed my research skills, fostered community engagement, and managed volunteer programs, all while immersed in the breathtaking environment of Redang Island.In addition to my technical skills, I pride myself on being a collaborative team player with a strong willingness to learn and adapt. I thrive in dynamic environments and am adept at working independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.My passion lies in exploring wildlife and marine conservation, and I am eager to leverage my academic background and practical experience to contribute meaningfully to impactful conservation efforts.
