Being a delivery driver for Uber required me to be very efficient at delivering and planning to maximize my profits. I planned the most efficient routes around Manhattan that minimized my downtime between trips and points of delivery. While doing this I was able to deliver around 5 deliveries every hour. I am currently a supervisor for Derby Dining Center at Kansas State. My job as a supervisor is to delegate my current student staff to accomplish daily objectives. On average I supervise food lines that serve roughly 800-900 students a night. I also work closely with the upper management on issues that the dining hall is facing and possible actions we can take to fix these issues. Before I became a supervisor I was a regular student employee tasked with various things such as serving, cleaning, and maintaining appropriate working conditions.
