This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Glasgow Rec Center Y is part of the Boonslick Heartland YMCA, and focuses on serving the Glasgow area through programs and services that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.Essential Functions:• Build meaningful relationships with members, community leaders, and donors• Lead and manage operations• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and direct necessary program staff and volunteers to meet the mission and program goals of the GRC• Assist the CEO in developing the budget and use sound fiscal decisions to ensure financial stability and growth• Develop marketing materials • In partnership with the GRC committee, develop and lead programs for the community

• Teaching middle school and high school aged students Science and English• Creating engaging lesson plans focused on English communication skills and the biological sciences

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and direct work study students• Develop and lead programs for library patrons• Advertise for events• Manage social media accounts
