About Peyton Dement
I graduated in August of 2022 from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) with my Master's degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. My career focus is mental health counseling, mainly for children, teens, and young adults. I have had some experience in a counseling setting from volunteering at Jewish Family Services in their counseling office and experience in working with adolescents as a Clinical Manager at Intercept Health Services. I am presently acquiring my hours as a Resident in Counseling for licensure as an LPC as well as my certification as a Certified Sexual Offender Treatment Professional (CSOTP).I am a very hard worker, a problem-solver, and I am self-motivated, while I enjoy working as a team member and independently. I am highly organized and I am driven to complete any tasks that may come my way despite any and all obstacles. I am also an easily adapted individual and can adjust to many situations. I hope to pursue my career goals while building on my knowledge and work experience along the way.
