Valparaiso, Indiana, United States
Performed particle physics research for the S.T.A.R. (Solenoidal Tracker At RHIC) group in Brookhaven National Laboratory. Our research was performed remotely at Valparaiso University under Dr. Gibson-Even and Dr. Shirvel Stanislaus. I was a part of a group of four students. We were analyzing 2013 neutral pion data in order to research gluons. Our goal was to measure how gluons contribute to proton spin. My work consisted of running scripts on S.T.A.R. databases. These scripts would process data into forms for other groups to use. I would also summarize these data in Excel and create weekly presentations for my mentors.
