I am writer based in NYC. I recently graduated from Columbia University with an MFA in writing with an emphasis on non-fiction. I have several publications including an essay in Fourth River, and Reed Magazine's annual nonfiction prize. I have years of teaching experience including my time as associate third grade teacher at The Hamlin School in San Francisco, working with children with autism at The Oak Hill School, and volunteering at Camp Okizu, a summer camp for kids affected by cancer. I recently completed a book about the Norwegian actress Liv Ullmann alongside elements of my own life.
