Peyton graduated from Cornell University with a major in Mathematics and concentration in Computer Science. As a Milstein Scholar, she explored the relationship between Economics and Technology. On-campus, she was Sigma Delta Tau's Alpha Chapter president and was tapped into the Order of Omega, an honors society for the top three percent of leaders in sorority and fraternal life.
