Cashiered, cooked on line, prepped food, barista and had to train incoming students how to do the things previously listed. In June 2017, I received a promotion to a Student Shift Leader. In order to qualify for the Student Shift Leader job, I had to attend classes on delegation and empowerment, leadership, emotional intelligence, customer service, and diversity inclusion. I gained more responsibilities including, training students, working more hours and covering shifts when needed. I gained a lot of insight when working for the University, it helped me learn to manage and assist others better both in and outside of work.
