Joining as a Director overseeing the Carolinas, The Faceoff Academy is comprised of collegiate and professional lacrosse players that conduct clinics around the country. We train tens of thousands of young players each year in the faceoff midfielder position.A Brief Backstory:Growing up in North Carolina does not make it easy to receive Division 1 lacrosse scholarships.It’s even harder to make it to the professional level. In fact, I am the only player born and raised in the Carolinas to play in the Professional Lacrosse League (PLL). The sport is dominant in the northeast, and players from non-hotbed states are constantly passed over. Having (almost) always tried to pursue what interests me, directly after playing Division 1 lacrosse in college, I was drafted in the first round to play professional lacrosse. Soon after, I joined a nationwide lacrosse training business. I love lacrosse, but I also wanted to pursue my other passions. While an Information Systems student, I took classes in a wide variety of subjects – but nothing fascinated me more than the power of the cloud. The world has changed, and we are only scratching the surface of what cloud computing can accomplish.
