I graduated with my Master’s degree in Meteorology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in August 2024. I am now an operational meteorologist at Planalytics, where I specialize in forecasting and data analysis. In this role, I focus on delivering actionable weather-driven insights to support business decision-making. My work includes generating accurate and timely weather forecasts, analyzing meteorological data trends, and leveraging predictive analytics to help clients mitigate risks and optimize opportunities based on weather impacts. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of meteorological data into broader business strategies, using advanced data analysis tools and methodologies.Graduate Research As a Master’s student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant focusing on analyzing in-situ mobile mesonet and mobile Doppler radar data. My research centered on investigating the frequency, thermodynamic, and kinematic structure of left-flank convergence boundaries (LFCBs) and forward-flank convergence boundaries (FFCBs) in supercells observed during the VORTEX (2009 & 2010) and TORUS (2019 & 2022) field projects.Undergraduate ResearchDuring my undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, I explored the near-cell environments of tropical cyclone tornadoes. My primary objective was to identify sounding-derived parameters that effectively discriminate between tornadic and non-tornadic environments.
