I was a nanny for the 2 year old hearing child of a Deaf father and ASL interpreter mother. The child is bilingual so we spoke and signed to each other.

I cared for and taught ASL to young children at Texas School for the Deaf.

As an Accessibility Assistant, I worked with disabled students to provide them assistance for various academic tasks. The pandemic eliminated the need of an assistant for many students, causing my role to end.

I was a Peer Money Mentor as a part of ACC’s Peer Money Mentorship Program. In this program, a select amount of students were taught about personal finance by the Student Money Management Office, as well as other professionals in the field. Then, we organized outreach events to share our knowledge to our fellow ACC students. The job is a semester long opportunity.

I cared for the 1-2 year old daughter of a couple who owned a local business.
