What does it mean to serve others? Serving others, sure, is someone who provides a service to someone but there is much more than just that. Throughout my educational journey, I have embarked on challenging yet beneficial group projects, both locally and globally, ranging from classmates to global group partners using X Culture, while simultaneously working part-time in the customer service sector. After college, I plan to continue my dedication of serving others by joining the North Carolina Army National Guard to serve this great State and Nation in a greater capacity and to defend this great place we call home. In addition to the National Guard, I have a strong interest in becoming a State Trooper with the North Carolina Highway Patrol. Until then, I plan to focus on my education and become involved in many different group projects to further build on my teamwork skills. I have always lived my life based on a service before self mindset, and it is my goal to achieve that by incorporating the experience that I have had. In so doing, this will ultimately lead to nicer communities, a greater country and a better world.
